My First Tai Chi Lesson

Slow pace in voice and movement
Bade us to take pause
From a busy day.
In quiet tones explained
The aim:
To hardly move at all.

Illuminating light above each head
Slowly gathered to each heart
The focus shift from outside
In
My beating heart was slowed.
Soft gold light breath taken in
And breathed out on a sigh.
Searing heat of pure-life energy
Burnt falling daytime cares.

Re-focus in your heart-soul self
And become truly aware.
Extend focus to body limits
And gently move in air.
