Healing sounds is a form of hard Chi-Kung exercise and should be done with physical strength. With each sound try to make the sound vibrate at the relevant centre.. Between each exercise, and at the end, come back to the Tan Tien to nurture your chi.
First sound – Haw
Draw fists into the waist at the Tan Tien, breathing out pushing out with a “Haw” sound. Three times.
Second sound – Eee
Draw fists in at the Solar Plexus, breathing out pushing out with the “Eee” sound. Three times.
Third sound – Ah
Bending the knees, reach down and draw up Earth energy. Raise the energy up to the heart and open to the sides. Push out to the sides with the “Ah” sound. Pull in with strength, using a sounding breath. Push out to sides. Three times.
Fourth Sound – Ha
Turn to the right hand side, right foot forward. Right hand at the throat, left hand at the waist. Push up with the right hand, push down with the left, making the “ha” sound in the throat. The ha sound should be soft, using a constricted throat. Three times. Repeat to the left.
Fifth Sound – Yuk
Bending the knees, reach down and draw up Earth energy. Raise the energy up to the shoulders. Exhale sharply with a “Yuk” sound, pushing upwards. Hold the breath for 3 seconds, then release lowering the hands. Breathe in breathe out pushing up, with a sounding breath. Lower the hands and repeat the breath twice more.
Sixth Sound – Om
Stand in dragon stance, right foot back. Raise the arms, breathing in, bring the arms down with the “Om” sound, vibrating in the whole body. Three times.
Repeat in dragon stance, left foot back.
Repeat in horse riding stance.
